Hana Chair

On the island of Maui there is a stretch of coast that is as isolated and remote as it is surpassingly beautiful.  This area, on the island’s east side, is home to a small community of hearty, back to the land types, many of whom grow their own food and built their own homes.  As a result, there is a certain organic aesthetic to the architecture that we find very charming. The Hana dining chair, with its hand shaped spindles and seat, is a nod to this rugged ethos; hand made as a way of life.
